This is a short and quick review for a short and quick first episode of the Songs of Submission serial. I don't want to spend money to support this kind of publishing non-sense, but since they have already paid for it, I don't feel bad about reading them.Ĭopy courtesy of eXcessica Publishing, via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Since I didn't plan on buying the rest of them out of protest, I'm going to be borrowing them from someone to finish the series. I like them as characters because they feel real, and I got invested in the short amount of time that I was able to read them.īut this whole serial style of writing is pissing me off. When I realized this, I was quite disappointed because I wanted to know what happened with Monica and Jonathan, and Darren, and Gabby. You know those annoying as hell book series that have been popping up lately that are actually just one book, but they stretched it out to you have to pay for it over several books and end up paying more than the price would have been for just a single novel? Yeah.
